X.4229 X4226 We have tested a set of the larger diameter rollers which have increased clearances in the hole and sideways. They have been run 150 miles. One roller has now a definite flat. Experiments, up-to-date with increased clearance on the pin and endways, and larger diameter rollers, have not overcome the flats being formed. We certainly think a scheme should be got out of doing away with the rollers. Hs.{Lord Ernest Hives - Chair} | ||
