To Hs.{Lord Ernest Hives - Chair} from DA.{Bernard Day - Chassis Design} X. 5370 DA{Bernard Day - Chassis Design}1/M20.8.25. SERVO ON 20 HP. Referring to your report on 9-G-111., Hs{Lord Ernest Hives - Chair}3/LG18.8.25., when Mr. Royce returned from his holiday he suggested as a result of his experience that it might be desirable to reduce the power of the servo still more. Experimentally this could be done by altering the angle of the present large diameter cam from 45° to say 50° or even 55°, and the effect on the braking and particularly on the servo jagger, tested. As soon as we get an opportunity we shall send you a cam which by an increase of dia. will enable 45° to be used with the reduced braking. DA.{Bernard Day - Chassis Design} | ||
