RHW/M.{Mr Moon / Mr Moore} 11th September, 1936. Messrs. Rolls Royce Ltd., Nightingale Road, DERBY. Dear Sirs, With further reference to your letter Hs{Lord Ernest Hives - Chair}/Std.21/KW of the 3rd inst., re Fan Belts for Phantom 111 car, we have now received a recommendation from our Development Department at Leyland, to the effect that in their opinion the most satisfactory way of overcoming your trouble would be to substitute for the belt you are at present using, two of our No. 447. To enable you to give this suggestion proper consideration, we are despatching, under separate cover, two of these belts and shall be glad to have your further views on this matter, in due course. Yours faithfully, for BRITISH TYRE & RUBBER CO. LTD., RWilliams | ||
