DA.{Bernard Day - Chassis Design}) FROM R.{Sir Henry Royce} BY.{R.W. Bailey - Chief Engineer}) (At Le CanadelHenry Royce's French residence.) HS.{Lord Ernest Hives - Chair}) C.c to BJ. WOR.{Arthur Wormald - General Works Manager} ORIGINAL R2/M12.4.28. REC'D AT WW., & DESPATCHED 16. 4. 28. "SS{S. Smith}" HAND BRAKE. X7330 N. sch. 2551. seems excellent. There are just one or two small points. The looking down lever on the hand lever shaft has an offset of about ¼". It would be better if this could be avoided, for obvious reasons. One wonders if this lever is not the weakest piece in the system. Also see if box key can be used where-ever practical. One I can see just doubtful - i.e. large bolt through cross member.
