Chassis Filters. We have been asked by the manufacturers of General Filters to supply them with fitting instructions for retrospectively fitting General Filters to our chassis. Complete schemes have been got out by the D.O. for the 4 1/4 and Wraith, we believe that a scheme is also available for the 3 1/2 litre. It has certainly been fitted to several of our cars. Various schemes have been got out for the P.III I don't know if any have been fitted. The Repair Dept. will know. Also please ascertain the chassis numbers of the 4 1/4 litre Bentley's and Wraith's. The way to do the job is to collect photographs, or scheme drawings, number up the bits used and write up on the lines of the attached sheet. We are handing over this job to you because most of the information required will be known by the Repair Dept. Rm.{William Robotham - Chief Engineer} | ||
