L. Edwards}11/JH Experimental Dept. 17th August, 1939. Messrs. Rolls-Royce Ltd., DERBY. For the attention of Mr. A.{Mr Adams} F.{Mr Friese} Martindale. Dear Sirs, We have your letter of the 15th instant and although the writer is able to come and see you on Friday we think it would be better if this matter could be left over until next week. In the meantime, could you let us have a diagramatic sketch of your scheme. The description given in your letter is quite clear but it would help us if we had a sketch roughly showing what you have in mind. Incidentally, we have nothing standard which we can offer you and would in any case have to make up a special unit. If we leave the question of an appointment over until next week this we hope will give us an opportunity of going into the matter and, if possible, make up a sample. Yours faithfully, For S. SMITH & SONS (MOTOR ACCESSORIES) LIMITED. QS To avoid delay all envelopes should be addressed to the firm. | ||
