SECRET. X+704. To Bv...........from Ev.{Ivan Evernden - coachwork} c. to Sg.{Arthur F. Sidgreaves - MD} WOT, Hs.{Lord Ernest Hives - Chair} H.{Arthur M. Hanbury - Head Complaints} EvG/IH.28.11.33. LID{A. J. Lidsey} re:- SCUTTLE ISOLATION - VULTURE. ----------------------- We send herewith EVS.109 - Scuttle Isolation Drawing for Vulture. The dashboard is shown exactly similar to that of J.S., with the exception that the outer edge has been extended to suit the Vulture shape. We have shown the bonnet resting on angles, as we understand that it is agreed that this scheme is to be preferred to that originally on J.S. It has the virtue that if this angle is not bolted on until the body is mounted, the bonnet can be adjusted to some extent to suit the body. The position of the isolation bolts is shown. These are at present standard and we wish to use also the blocks of rubber between the scuttle and the dashboard pot, as designed for J.S., and we are preparing the body to suit them.
