-2- Ernest A Claremont Esq., below Barker's present prices. His report shows as follows:- (1) Ground required : Building 5500 sq. yds. = 1.1/10th. acres. Timber sheds 3300 sq. yds. = 3/5th. acre 330 sq. yds. = 1/16th. acre. = 1 3/4 acres. (2) Capital required. Buildings £11,000 Plant, machinery, & loose tools 2,300 Materials, such as wood, leather, paints, etc. 4,000 £17,300 (3) Working Capital required. in connection with a turnover of £17,000, and an annual wages and salary sheet of £8,400 would be 7,000 Total Capital requirements ---- £24,300 (4.) He estimates the gross cost of 100 Bodies plus extras to be ........ £14,600 (including Insurance, depreciation, rates and taxes) And that we should receive for the Bodies and extras .... .... £17,000 Profit ... £2,400 per annum on a Capital invested of £24,300 = 10% profit on Capital, or on a turnover of £17,000, a profit of 14%. | ||
