S/W. Hs.{Lord Ernest Hives - Chair} (Copy to Mr. H.{Arthur M. Hanbury - Head Complaints}) Sg{Arthur F. Sidgreaves - MD}9/M/6.1.27. Re: Experimental Bodies. Rm.{William Robotham - Chief Engineer} 'phoned me this afternoon from Barker's and asked how soon you could have the Experimental 40/50 HP. body being built at Hooper's. On enquiring from them on the telephone, I learn that this body is now being panelled and cannot be ready finished, painted and upholstered, before the end of the month. They have apparently been given an unofficial hint (I do not know by whom) that there was no hurry about this body and that it was not likely to be required for some considerable time. They tell me that the one for the 20 HP. has been standing awaiting instructions for some considerable time. We here, have not really been following up these bodies, as we understood that Ev.{Ivan Evernden - coachwork} was doing so. If there is any further information you require from us, please let us know. Sg.{Arthur F. Sidgreaves - MD} | ||
