[Handwritten Notes] TO Rg.{Mr Rowledge} c. to BY.{R.W. Bailey - Chief Engineer} PAS Will you please deal with this direct or let me know the necessary information. PN{Mr Northey}3/DN/25.3.24 as information to P.N. FROM P.N. He also asked for this last week but we told him it was impossible to have it at last. let him have it for this coming Friday. Can we let him have this answer by Friday O.P. for BY [Crossed out reference: Y9940] [Typed Text] In connection with the Police Court case to be heard at Leicester on Friday morning next, I am most anxious to obtain if possible any data relating to the decelerating effect of : (a) Brakes on two wheels. (b) Brakes on four wheels. Are you able to provide any data in respect of these with Rolls-Royce cars ? From information published independently and my own impression, it would appear that a car having 4-wheel brakes may be expected to be able to pull up in half the distance that the same car with 2-wheel brakes would be able to pull up in. I shall be glad to have your remarks by return, please. P.N. | ||
