Dear Sirs,

RE SIR HENRY ROYCE. BART. 27EX.

We have now been able to obtain a decision as to the finish of the above car. This decision is final.

HEAD. Straight grained black fabric. Pillars above the waist line to be black.

PANELS, SCUTTLE & BONNET.---- Willey's Blue grey to pattern herewith. Sir Henry says that the grey should have a tinge of green in it and must not err on the side of showing a pinkish hue.

WAIST MOULDING. Black. Later we may try a fine line of some sort.

WINGS, APRON & CHASSIS. Black.

METAL SPARE WHEEL COVER. Same grey as panels and rear boot. It can be lined out in black and polished metal.

EXTERIOR FITTINGS. Staybright, or any other suitable untarnishable finish. Door handles as on your Show Cars.

WHEELS. Black and without discs.

STEPS. No tool boxes- edged with staybright angle, and covered with straight grooved grey rubber.

INTERIOR.

SEATS, SQUABS & INSIDES OF DOORS. Covered in black leather like the sample herewith. Front bucket seats to have plain cushions and pleated squabs. Rear seats to have main cushion with two down cushions of the same black leather. The seat ofcourse must be to our dimension in height with the down cushions in use. (you did this on IS.G.4.) Rear squab to consist of two panels between which will be the centre arm rest.

HEAD CLOTH. Greenish grey to pattern herewith.

CARPET. Suitable greenish grey, but not too dark. We leave you to settle this.
