Dear Rm.{William Robotham - Chief Engineer}

I picked up the wheels which you kindly persuaded the Works to sell me for so reasonable figure at N. yesterday and put them on the car. They are a wonderful improvement and strangely enough they have improved the steering to a very marked degree. A thing that they should not have done, according to all our old theories.

Very many thanks.

I hope to be in Derby on Tuesday next week.
You will be pleased to hear I learned a great deal from Sr. and my many talks with the French Coachbuilders.

One result will be that your next Bentley will have steel wings, and metal steps. After going out to Montlhery in the Bentley I am surprised that our present wings stay on the car as long as they do.

Yours Sincerely
