-2- The Tudor Accumulator Co. Ltd. R2/G20119. We hope this matter will be a question of at least hundreds of batteries, probably thousands, and we feel sure it will be worth your while to take the matter up seriously The great difficulties are - (1) That a very rapid discharge is wanted for a short period, about 120 amperes for 30 seconds. (2) That the batteries will be sure to get a certain amount of neglect. (3) That every precaution should be taken to prevent leakage of the cell from cell to cell. (4) That they should be non-inflammable cases. (5) Not liable to expel the electrolyte by gassing etc. when partly or fully charged. (6) They will be subjected to a certain amount of vibration, which we think is not serious. (7) That separate celluloid cells would be preferred as separate cells are capable of being better in- sulted, and a defective cell replaced, and also that with celluloid cells the liquid level can be better examined and controlled. Yours faithfully, From:- F.{Mr Friese} H.{Arthur M. Hanbury - Head Complaints} Royce. | ||
