Re: TIGHTENING UP BEARINGS AND FITTING RR.56 LINERS TO 4 I/4 LITRE BENTLEY ENGINES

As we believe that there are a certain number of 4 I/4 litre Bentley cars in Belgium, we take it that they should have the same attention, after they have run 10.000 to 12.000 Kms., that we are giving to cars in France.

If you agree to the above, we take it that Rob., the Works representative on the Continent, would attend to the job.

In order to attend to this job, it would be advisable or even necessary for Rob., or the person who may be instructed to attend to the work, to be in possession of a tool similar to the one which we have made for measuring the amount of sinkage of the upper half of the main bearings.
