RE. CHASSIS 39-TW. Geoffrey Summers Esq.

With reference Prs' report 1963/ref. PREL/EP{G. Eric Platford - Chief Quality Engineer}/9.11.20 the information contained in this report is certainly very interesting, as it confirms our own tests and opinions.

One of the points we are very seriously pushing is that of obtaining a better ignition plug than the one we are now using, and I would certainly take advantage of again putting forward to the experimental Dept. the excellent behaviour of the Bosch plugs.

With regard to the condenser, this is also a point which has had our consideration and an alteration has been considered and we hope will be coming through shortly in which the long security bolts will not be exposed, or even be in close proximity to the condenser.

Apart from this we have for some time been making a special point of making sure when building up these condensers and aluminium covers, to see that the condenser is quite clear of the long security bolts.

Hs.{Lord Ernest Hives - Chair} - Attached hereto is copy of memo. referred to.
