Quoting a letter from Metropolitan-Vickers Electrical Co. Ltd. about receiving Bakelite Micarta insulation samples.

X.3513 - Sample Bakelite Insulations for Experimental Purposes. Further to mine Wd{Mr Wood/Mr Whitehead}1/NJS.7.21, we are now in receipt of a further letter from the Metropolitan-Vickers Electrical Co.Ltd., Trafford Park, Manchester, as follows:- "Bakelite Micarta. Further to ours of the 5th ult., "wherein we advised you that we were obtaining for you "from the States samples of 1/16" Bakelite Micarta. "Samples of Black and Brown Micarta have now come to hand, "and we have pleasure in enclosing same herewith. The "sample of black is not the size you asked for, but it "is as received here, and we trust same will be suitable "for the purpose for which it is required.
