Dear Sirs,

We thank you for your letter ref. CCM/MV. of the 27th. inst.

The writer will be in Cambridge on Saturday morning at about 11-o'clock and would like to take the opportunity of inspecting the 6-pen Chronograph, and at the same time would esteem it a favour if you would let him look over your Works.

We are at present looking for a device to indicate when the cooling water of the car boils, by means of an electric contact lighting a bulb on the Dashboard. Possibly you have such a device already designed?

Yours faithfully,
