Re Car No. 1992.

With reference to the question of tyre consumption on the above car, which matter has had our careful consideration, we beg to suggest that you make a trial of the oversize Continental tyres. These tyres could be fitted without any alteration to the existing rims, i.e. a 150 m/m tyre fits a 135 m/m rim and the makers claim for them that they are a stronger and larger tyre than the standard size for the same rim.

We ourselves have not as yet given these tyres a sufficiently extensive trial to be able to state with certainty any opinion as to their durability but from our limited experience, we think you might safely give them a trial, as it is for such heavy work that
