Att: Mr. W. A.{Mr Adams} Robotham

Dear Sirs:

Regarding the torch used for applying Stellite and the number of tip used, the following is the information given us by the plants:

Our Battle Creek plant, where they apply the Stellite to valve seats, advise they use the Oxweld type T-15 torch with No. 6 tip. This is secured from:

Oxweld Acetylene Company
302 Thompson Avenue,
Long Island City, N.Y.

At our Saginaw plant where they apply the Stellite to seat ring inserts, they advise they use an Imperial Brass Manufacturing Company's torch, type 6X Imp. Airplane Welding Torch with 3A, 4A or 5A tips depending on the size of the work. The 3A is used on the smallest and the 5A on the largest jobs. For general use the 4A is best. The Imperial Brass Manufacturing Company is located in Chicago, Illinois.

Very truly yours,

WILCOX-RICH CORPORATION

We are sending you by parcel post today one T15 Oxweld torch with numbers 2, 3, 4, 5, 6, and 7 tips, which was Mr. Heron's selection of torch, and with this we are sending the Stellite and ferro-flux.
