x201 Hs{Lord Ernest Hives - Chair}/Rm.{William Robotham - Chief Engineer} KC/DPB/2.1.35. Chassis No.168.AH. Lord Stalbridge. Further to my KC/DPB.2.1.35, with reference to front axle control damper anchorage eyebolt rear, piece No.FB.690. During the course of carrying out modifications (change of front axle) we have ascertained that a further complete set of anchorages fitted to the above car are minus the annulus connecting up with the oil feed in the one-shot. In view of Mr.Dodd's remark to me that the suspect eyebolts were in and around the AH series, the results of the last two days seem to point in that direction. These parts HAVE been returned to the Repair Department marked for the attention of Hd{Mr Hayward/Mr Huddy}/SB.{Mr Bull/Mr Bannister} (Mileage 6998) KC. [Signature] | ||
