John Marston Limited Paul Street Works, WOLVERHAMPTON Dear Sirs, Reverting to our various discussions early this year regarding the Harrison Film type Radiator, and the sample block known as your Mark II type to Sketch SK-304 that you delivered to these Works early February, we understood from the remarks made by Mr. Dalrymple and also Mr. Holt that this embodied your latest form of construction. From reports received from our Representatives recently returned from the States, who have been investigating amongst other matters, Radiators, it would appear, however, the American Harrison Company are now marketing a film type block which is more efficient in many directions than the type you have submitted. Samples are available here, and we would suggest your Representatives - possibly accompanied by Mr. Holt - visit us at an early date, when matters could be discussed more fully. Naturally we are anxious that only the latest type block should be subjected to the exhaustive tests we are now carrying out. Perhaps you would kindly give us two or three days notice of the intended visit, so that arrangements could be made for the various Derby officials interested to all be available. Yours faithfully, For and on behalf of ROLLS-ROYCE LIMITED Buyer RECEIVED 1932 APR 5 HC | ||
