A 121 D.{John DeLooze - Company Secretary} R.{Sir Henry Royce} CO., LTD. SHEET No. 2. 19 In ordinary steering, the wheels would automatically take up their proper path, and in turning a left-hand corner, the rear side wheel would be turned through a greater angle than the off-side - thus preventing unnecessary tread wear. If the car were standing at the kerb-side, the device would enable one wheel to be turned independently of the other, and there would be no difficulty in getting away. Perhaps you can see some objections, or perhaps you have already tried something of the kind, if so we should be glad to have your comments. Yours faithfully, FOR THE DUNLOP RUBBER CO. LTD.
