Copy of letter to be sent to Mr.West, Messrs. Rolls Royce.Ld. DERBY. L.W.Cox Esq., Messrs. Rolls Royce,Limited., 14-15 Conduit Street, LONDON, W.1. FGT/U. 21st June, 1937. Dear Mr.Cox, Mellotone Horns. Further to your letter of the 16th June, and my visit on Friday last when we discussed the above Horns, on my return to the works I got in touch with Mr.West, Experimental Dept.at Derby, who confirmed the suspicion which I mentioned to you, that these Horns are our ordinary Under-Bonnet type which we are aware are less powerful than the new WT.13 pattern. It was never our intention these should be standardised on either Rolls-Royce or Bentley cars but your Experimental Dept.at Derby were interested in trying them for reasons of general interest. I trust this clears up the doubt which you had in mind and shall be grateful if you will be good enough to inform Mr.Sidgreaves so that he shall be under no misapprehension on the matter. Yours sincerely, Technical Sales Manager. | ||
