X.3513 - BAKELITE OR FORMITE MOULDED COMMUTATORS.

At your instigation, vide EP{G. Eric Platford - Chief Quality Engineer}6 & 21/F26.4.21, Mr. Brock and myself whilst in the London District visited Messrs. Crompton's Works at Chelmsford on Wednesday afternoon last. Unfortunately, the gentleman, Mr. Morgan, for whom you had suggested we should enquire, was not at the Works during the afternoon, (it was stated that he was only well enough to be present in the morning), and it did not appear that other Officials who were there were keen on showing us anything. We did not therefore press the point but came away.

It appeared that they had not received the letter referred to by you in your EB20/F20.4.21, or perhaps Mr. Morgan had received it and not mentioned the matter, so that in the circumstances nothing could be done.
