Attached herewith is a preliminary survey of the Junkers engine weights giving as far as possible a comparative figure for the Merlin Units. It will be appreciated that in many cases the two engines differ so in design, that it has been deemed unwise to attempt a comparison.

It is proposed at a later date to make a full photographic detail weight analysis of the 'Junkers' similar to that carried out on the Merlin and Hispano Suiza.
