X3587. Extract from report on 18-GIV at 10,000 miles dated 30.1.31. X.3587. STARTER MOTOR TO LOP. D.51632. The starter motor after the fitting of a stronger spring was considerably better. It slipped when starting up with engine very cold and was gummy on one occasion. We are dealing with this failure as this particular starter had got very polished friction plates. | ||
