Dear Mr. West, I am sorry to learn that you have been unwell, and hope that by this time you are quite recovered. re Special Flexible Tube. We have met with great difficulties in this matter and as I before indicated to you, especially so in obtaining the bronze strip for the outside braid. This material was promised to us day after day, and the promises were not kept. However, we have to-day completed a length of about ten feet of the smaller size tube which I am sending to you under separate cover. The Sistoflex tube cannot be obtained in longer lengths than one yard, and of course we purchase the Metallic Flexible Tube outside, but we have so arranged these that there is no difficulty in pushing into the metallic tube a length of one yard of Sistoflex. Knowing that you require the finished tube in short lengths I am sending the Sistoflex separately, for you to insert yourselves, which you will find an easy matter if care is taken to make sure that the entry into the Metallic Flexible Tube is quite clear and free from projections. The construction of the tube is as follows :- Diameters Internal External Sistoflex .316" .366" Metallic Flexible Tube .375" .500" Cotton Braid (clear lacquered) - .525" Tinned Copper Braid - .570" Phosphor Bronze Strip Braid - .625" I shall be glad to receive your comments and criticism.
