To Rm.{William Robotham - Chief Engineer} from HPS{Horace Percy Smith - Experimental Factory Mgr}/RH.{R. Hollingworth} c. to Rm{William Robotham - Chief Engineer}/AFM.{Anthony F. Martindale} File 200a HPS{Horace Percy Smith - Experimental Factory Mgr}/RH.{R. Hollingworth}2/VS.{J. Vickers}16.11.37. CHASSIS 6.B.IV. Stop on Servo Levers to R.R.Sch.1006. While preparing the above car for 15,000 miles trials, the End Plate GB.2450 in S/N. for Servo Stop was found to be badly bent, as shown on EX.I.244. The above scheme is used in conjunction with Girling Brakes, and the stop is to prevent excessive movement between the Servo Levers. The above stop was fitted 3.12.36. and has completed 21,500 miles. We suggest the above point should receive attention before the car leaves for France. HPS{Horace Percy Smith - Experimental Factory Mgr}/R.{Sir Henry Royce} Hollingworth. | ||
