Reference Minutes of Works Committee conference 17th Jan.1921, please cancel paragraphs 2 and 3 of same, and replace with the following:-

The lorries were bought because we could not get our goods transported by goods train on any terms, and we were often driven into having supplies sent by passenger train, at enormous cost, a cost far exceeding cost of transport by lorry.

We are now able to obtain prompt delivery by goods train of the bulk of our supplies, and the cost, although higher than it formerly was, is still much lower than the transport by lorry.
