X4334 To Wd. {Mr Wood / Mr Whitehead} from EFC {E. Fowler Clarke - Electrical Engineer} T EFC {E. Fowler Clarke - Electrical Engineer} 1/T9.9.22. X. 4334 - S.E.V. MAGNETO. We desire to return for repair to the S.E.V. Co. a double spark magneto, type No.186909 C.6 /, which was taken from the Delage car, another magneto being put on in its place. The reason of removal was that the magneto failed to function correctly, and on investigation of this being made, amongst other things it was found that the armature secondary winding had corroded at two places inside, the causing two breaks in the secondary winding, this corrosion apparently being due to soldering flux. We desire now to return the whole magneto to the S.E.V. Co. to be completely repaired and made into a good machine, as a machine of this type giving two sparks will be useful for experimental work. Perhaps you will kindly get in touch with the S.E.V. people on this matter, and all the magneto parts are with us when required to be sent. EFC. {E. Fowler Clarke - Electrical Engineer} | ||
