This car has now run 80,000 miles. It has been well driven and carefully maintained, most of the mileage having been run on Ministry work by myself.
I think it is worth your while to try the car as an example of the durability to be expected from the fully rationalised 6-cylinder class.
The petrol and oil consumption are as follows :
Petrol ... ... 19 m.p.g.
Oil ... ... 1114 m.p.g.
I never remember an experimental car which gave so little trouble over so great a mileage.
All who have ridden in the car have commented on the pleasing dimensions of the body from the point of view of the owner-driver who requires a division.
