X7791 EFC1/T. 8th November, 1928. Messrs. North & Sons Ltd., Whippendell Road, WATFORD. Dear Sirs, We duly received your letter of the 5th inst. ref. CHK/HWJ. relating to a contact breaker which you say has apparently been damaged by petrol or petrol vapour entering the cam cage. We think we can probably agree with your diagnosis of the trouble. We now think that the cause has probably been the ingress of paraffin during swabbing down of the engine. We now regret that we should have troubled you in this matter. Yours faithfully, FOR ROLLS-ROYCE LIMITED. If you will repair amd return this contact breaker we will get our Order Office to send you an official order for same. | ||
