W/N. Br.{T. E. Bellringer - Repair Manager} from Hs{Lord Ernest Hives - Chair}/Rm.{William Robotham - Chief Engineer} C. A.{Mr Adams} 84117 Hs{Lord Ernest Hives - Chair}/Rm.{William Robotham - Chief Engineer}3/AD29.6.32. You will recollect that in A18/H5.11.31, the question of sending you a special set of split piston type shock dampers was discussed. We finally sent a set down to you via Hancock. The idea was to fit them to customers cars where trouble had previously been experienced with the old type of dampers. However there were difficulties in doing this because a lot of modifications had to be made to make them fit such cars. We therefore surmise that these shock absorbers may not have been utilised and if not we should like to have them back here as we have a car to which we can fit them at once and get some running experience.
