You will have heard from Mr. Royce that he is interested in RRM. DES.60. more than any other. We sent you a lever with the original design which gave you 3 proportions of manual braking so that you should be able to get considerably more direct braking than on the 40/50 without further instructions from us, so that we expect this system does not require any new parts making as it stands. We believe you have a car fitted up with most of the parts for this system and Mr. Royce will expect to see this car amongst the others which come down here if possible.

We sent you a lever giving more than the 40/50 direct braking on the RRM. car you have fitted up. If this should be standardised it will be necessary to go over the levers again as there is a certain loss of angle on the direct braking which has to be made up in some way. As it stands however Mr. Royce does not propose to go on with this scheme and consequently we shall though not send you any more instructions for the present though we hope the car that comes down here will have the long lever giving about 34 to 1 between the pedal and the rear brakes.
