BY/NS.{Norman Scott} IS electrical part OK GRG Pass on to N/C VHM General. During the discussion the following points were brought out, and the undermentioned decisions taken. Depot Sheets. Sheets issued for a specific car are not to be applied to other cars, i.e. Phantom 11. Depot Sheets are not to apply to Phantom 111. If Depots are in doubt on any subject they should ask BY.{R.W. Bailey - Chief Engineer} Testing Equipment for Depots. The equipment necessary to check over routine adjustments should be produced at Derby and issued to the Main Depots. Main Depot Staff - Re: Cricklewood & Kingsbury. It is considered essential for the maintenance staff at these Depots to visit the Works for a course of instruction. A refresher course would be necessary from time to time to cover modifications. Recurrence of Failures. If the same failure recurs on any car the Depot should bring the matter to the notice of BY.{R.W. Bailey - Chief Engineer} Steps should then be taken for Sales to loan the customer a car. This would enable the unit to be throughly examined, and would provide evidence upon which future complaints could be judged. Starter Motors and Flywheel Gear Rings - Phantom 111.
