In reply to your memo E2/IB25815, we are having sent to you under separate cover all the parts of the coil that you have requested in your memo. We give below Mr. Ellis's replies to your queries :- Question 1. Condenser. 200 leaves. Paper folds. 5" x 2-11/16" Lead coil. 5 1/2" x 2 3/4" x .005" Box.inside 5-5/16" x 2 7/8" x 7/8" deep. outside. 6" x 3 3/8" x 1 3/8" Questions 2.3.4 &5. Primary winding 223 turns .036" D.S.C. on an outside dia. of tubing of 3/4" Secondary winding :- 49 layers of .005 D.S.C. wire. 26 " " .0069 " " 1st. layer 450 turns decreasing to the last layers of 280 turns approximately. 1st. layer commencing 3/8" from each end and finishing 3/4" from each end. The decrease per layer is approximately 2 turns per layer. 27400 sec.turns .
