To Dft. from BY/Shn. and to Mr. SYKES. c. to Hd.{Mr Hayward/Mr Huddy} c. to Dft. for Mr Cox. c. to Dft. for Mr Ellis. V4228 RE "GOSHAWK II" - CARBURETTER FLOATS - SEC:5080. In order not to delay production, it has been decided to use in the carburetter floats E.50955, which are 1/2 oz. lighter than drawing - on the first 20 chassis - by sweating on the lower face a brass ring 1.900 outside dia; 1.325 inside dia; cut from sheet 15 S.W.G. .072 thick. The weight should then be carefully corrected if necessary, by lightly surface grinding the face of the washer. Will the Inspection Dept: give a report to the Order Office, who should take up the question of correction of the surplus with the Makers, and also call attention to future supplies. BY/Shn, | ||
