To HPS.{Horace Percy Smith - Experimental Factory Mgr} 646 or 102H Rm{William Robotham - Chief Engineer}/Les.10/JH.28.2.38. WRAITH BUMPER CHASSIS. It has been decided to use the Firestone type buffers for the front suspension on the production cars. As these have only just been issued and in consequence are not running in France, we are anxious to test them on the Bumper chassis as soon as possible. The top buffer was issued in By/CRL.{C. R. Lisson}1/E.19.2.38. and the bottom buffer in By/CRL.{C. R. Lisson}2/E.26.2.38. A second set of parts will be needed for use on one of our cars. The actual rubbers are already in stock.
