Adoption of a new push and pull switch for the starter motor and booster coil, replacing an unsatisfactory tumbler switch.

It has been suggested that we should adopt a similar scheme on S.1436 for switching the starter motor and booster coil as that used on J.8611. We are therefore sending you a combined push and pull switch for this purpose and should be glad if you will arrange for this to be fitted. The push button which is removed from S.1436 should be used for operating the booster coil on Hawker K.3036 aircraft as the existing method using a tumbler switch for operating the booster coils has been found to be unsatisfactory.
