I shall be in London this week-end, and should like to take the opportunity of coming to Kingsbury on Monday, provided you can show me cars suffering from axle noise complaints. GWH.{George W. Hancock - Head Chateauroux} tells us that in certain cases you are able to cure a noisy axle by changing the pinion bearing although nothing wrong can be seen with the bearing removed.

If any cars come in during the rest of this week which you can possibly hold over until Monday before you disturb them in any way, will you give me a ring on Saturday morning so that I can arrange to try the cars at Kingsbury on Monday, and then see the pinion assembly stripped and re-fitted.
