Attached is a brief summary of the position
of our three 10,000 mile cars.

Actually now you have got the gearbox ready
we should like to get the Phantom cleaned up first.
The silent tappets are the worst feature as to prevent
the valves bouncing we want lighter valves as shown
on LeC.3960 attached.

Will you please urge the cylinder head and
the silent tappets.

The 20/25 is doing useful work but before it
goes to France we do want to get the La{L. A. Archer} Salle steering
on it. Hs.{Lord Ernest Hives - Chair} has decided he would like this to go on
the 10,000 mile car rather than Wor{Arthur Wormald - General Works Manager}'s car.

The other big job on this car is the engine
mounting to the production detail drawings.

With regard to the Bentley, this of course
goes to France as soon as the front axle is completed
irrespective of whether the other items tabulated are
ready or not.
