Dear Mr. Ward,

I should be glad to know if you have been able to find a piece of red leather cloth that is anything like a match for the small sample which I gave you on my last visit to your works.

Since seeing you I have measured up the quantity required, which is roughly about 2 1/2 yards. If you will let me know if you have any-thing you could let me have that is a near match, I should be obliged.

Regarding the photographs of the model tank, these have been taken, but I do not think we shall get them until towards the end of the week. However, as soon as they arrive, you can depend on me sending them along.
