Dear Sirs, Replying to your letter of the 22nd inst., we have a 7.50-17 tyre immediately available in the Triple Stud Fort construction and small quantities can be supplied from stock. There is also on order one mould for the production of this size of tyre in the "90" pattern which you are at present testing in other sizes, but this is not due for completion until mid-August, and initial tyre supplies from it will not be ready until approximately August 25th. We should mention that the 7.50-17 tyre does not represent a size which is at the moment in general use in this country and as, therefore, our production capacity in its direction is rather meagre, you will understand that we should appreciate as much warning as possible should you decide to adopt it as a standard fitment, in order that the plant position may be reviewed.
