x599x. Restaurant Octobon, Le-Canadel, Par-Le-Lavandou, (Var) France. 31.1.32. Hs.{Lord Ernest Hives - Chair} from Dodd, Everything going well with 20.G.4. our weekly mileage is not very high, averaging only 160. miles. per week. Engine running well, gear-box giving no trouble what ever, no change in gear note either on the gears, or in neutral position. Brakes working excellently, no sign of squeaks. Telgage with new petrol tank keeping very accurate. There seems to be a fair amount of movement at the radiator, R has remarked on this. No failures to report and quite satisfied with the running of the car. The Laissee-Passer expires on Feb.16th, shall we renew this for the rest of our stay at Le-Canadel, or will you change over cars later on? I should be very obliged if you will let me know what steps to take with regard to the renewing of the license, and so save useless expense. Yours faithfully, L Dodd. | ||
