S/W Hs{Lord Ernest Hives - Chair}/Rm.{William Robotham - Chief Engineer} C4/C29.7.36 Re Chassis No. 34.EX. Hs{Lord Ernest Hives - Chair}/Rm{William Robotham - Chief Engineer}7/KW28.7.36. I am very relieved to note you think this braking trouble was entirely due to Fraser misjudging the speed of the car. I quite agree that a full size Limousine with soft suspension is a fundamentally difficult thing to handle in an emergency of this sort, and we will certainly give warning to our drivers. In the meantime I should like to know what were the conditions of EP{G. Eric Platford - Chief Quality Engineer}'s experience that was referred to. I presume you think this was probably due to a similar sort of thing. C. | ||
