Re. 19-EX.

With regard to work being carried out by Sanderson & Holmes on 19-EX, we are of the opinion that the following work should not be charged for -

(1) Freeing all door locks and making same operate. (These were left solid with paint).

(2) Insufficient clearance of rear wings for Hartford shock dampers. (This job is questionable.)

(3) Valances fouling underside of both rear doors.

(4) Windscreen not weather proof. This was pointed out during the first fitting up of the body.

(5) All rivets broken away from joint of step of scuttle. This has been fastened by small brass screws.

---

Other work which they have done is - Welding of N.S. front wing, which had cracked during the mileage; Strengthened pieces fitted at bottom of both front wings, repainting same; Fitted stronger bolts to valance at side of bonnet.
