My dear Pin The 16 is nearly ready and should be shipped early in the week. When we first got it, it was a mass of corruption but I think we have improved it by pecking away at it. With the stiffer springs we don't quite like the shake with fenderwell spares, so I am having the rear box fitted up to take a rear spare whenever you want to try it this way. The box was "upholstered" in kindling wood and cheap carpeting and was no use to god or man, so you will not miss it. I am afraid the car shows that it has been built by excited and uncritical people for a public that doesn't bother with details. The watch-like finish of small details which is typical of R.R. (even though it is your job to tell Swift that the finish of parts is lousy) | ||
