Y6002a. Hs{Lord Ernest Hives - Chair}/Wst.3/MA. 16th May, 1935. Messrs.K.L.G.Sparking Plugs, Ltd., Robinhood Engineering Works, Putney Vale, London, S.W.15. Dear Sirs, With reference to the visit of your Mr.R. Mundy to our Bentley Service Station at Kingsbury when he discussed Bentley sparking plug failures with the undersigned, we have had under consideration the 765D modification and have come to the conclusion that as we shall be probably changing over shortly to the 850 type plug it would not be worth while reverting to any intermediate modification. We have no running experience of the 765 D and we could not standardize the same without proving after extensive test that the 765 D was an improvement over the 765 A.{Mr Adams} Perhaps you would like to let us have your remarks on this question. Yours faithfully, FOR ROLLS-ROYCE LIMITED. | ||
