I shall be glad to know whether the steering levers have been improved, making the section better for torsion where it fails.
After improvement they should be again tested to destruction with reverse stresses or repeated stresses, to see if any one particular weak spot can be found.
I am particularly anxious that all the new work shall be well rounded off, so that there shall be no sharp edges to commence a torsional fracture.
