X2628 X9410 X1331 My idea of testing the exact strength and design of spring that we were going to use without insisting upon either make was that I understood it was difficult to obtain satisfactory Firth springs in time. Naturally I should prefer the exact strength, design, and make, that we intended to fit. I therefore agree with Mr. Johnson, and only point out that Firths and Woodheads springs could be compared relatively on the bump test. Mr. Johnson will kindly decide X what circumstances we shall need. bend is waiting for firths or testing Woodhead. and carefully comparing, Anyway we shall not be content unless Firths equal Woodheads on the Bump test.
